Do something that scares you but will grow your career…Remember, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

2. Network more.

Did you know that almost 80% of new job opportunities are sourced via networking?
If you aren’t networking, you’re not accessing these career possibilities.
In fact, you should be networking internally and externally as well! Connect with your Industry Peers, ex-bosses who have left your firm, and even old classmates!
Keep broadening your network and the opportunities will be amplified!

How do you do it? An easy step would be to check your contact list and list 20 people whom you haven’t reached out in the past year. Drop them an email or whatsapp message to check in on them. 

You never know what opportunities you may uncover!

If you’re able to create and curate a brand, or even a legend about yourself, opportunities will come knocking at your door. 

If you don’t have a brand or you don’t know what yours is, it’s time for you to create one now.

5. Learn a new skill today.

“But what skill?”

Just observe your boss. What can he do that you can’t?

Maybe it’s presenting to the Board, or fixing a complicated problem, or perhaps closing mega deals.

Identify the skill you want to learn, and ask him about it. Get his advice. Ask him how he does it and if he can teach you.

The more you behave like Upper Management, the faster you’ll get there.
